Day 59: MRT

Just had to take a photo because this is very rare..An MRT that is not jampacked and filled to the rafters.I usually don't like taking the MRT because it's very crowded and  some people just don't have any respect for personal space.

Day 58: Consequence

I wanted to teach Joshwa the value of consequence. One time he wrote on our bedroom wall I made him erase at least half of it. Great thing that he used a washable marker.

Day 57: Girls Day Out

I love eating out with Adee because she makes it so much fun.I love her appetite and her excitement when it comes to trying something new. I think of the meal as an opportunity to try new experiences with her, whether it’s reading from a menu or having her doodle and the disposable placemat. Simple Joys and Simple Pleasures Indeed!

Day 56: We Miss You

This was taken at Ate Beth's final resting place. I just wanted to let her know that:

I miss you and think about you every single day. Everytime I think of you I smile because truly you are lucky than the rest of us. Free from feeling pain, free from feeling sorrow, free from worrying. Just enjoying overflowing love as you deserve.

Day 55:Boots

I just had to take a photo of these boots that was given to me by my sister 2 years ago.I wore them for the first time EVER. It wasn't as bad as I thought It would be.Will definitely wear them again.

Day 54: In Your Eyes

 

I love your eyes, those twinkling eyes,
They speak of a thousand things.

It glows and I drown in its intensity,
I would love to stay there forever.

It evokes myriad memories,

I consider myself lucky enough,

Day 53: Daddy's Girl

Dad's are often the most misunderstood part of the family unit. As a rule, men have trouble displaying their emotions. This is product of our society that believes that it is not macho to show emotions. Fathers may have been shamed into repressing their emotions and may pass this on to their children. On the other hand a father who can show his children that a real man is one who shows emotion is a great gift to his children. A father plays a huge role in his children's development. Hopefully, he will live up to the challenge of being the best Dad that he can be.

Day 52: Mini Me??

This picture was taken by my awesome husband  Was so happy  that my husband was there capture stuff like this. Isnt my baby getting so big! I cant believe it!Some people say that she is my Mini-Me.What do you think?

Day 51: A New Challenge

I keep telling myself that I need a motivation. I need something to jumpstart my path towards fitness. This was it I think. I was invited to participate as a special participant in the Fit and Right Challenge.Well included in the photo are my 3 other team mates. There's no cash prize but the grand prize is a trip to Boracay. I don't know what I got myself into but nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Day 50:Dangerous

This photo really bothered me. I can't believe it that this parents were irresponsible enough to let their kid ride on the motorcycle with them without a helmet.

Day 48:Cafe

The concept of this restaurant revolves around the concept of "shabby chic". Initially you  would think that their pieces of decor or things that they put together  are considered "baduy". But it blended so well.. Really love this restaurant and the food is so good.

Day 47:Desk

I was asked by my tita to pitch in at her canteen. She was running a little help and she needed a little help. So I took a phone of what her desk looks like.How can I possible loose weight when I all is junk food.

Day 45: Peace

This is my favorite shot of you Adee. Initially when I saw this shot it totally freaked me out something could have happened  but your dad reminded me that there was nothing to freak out about because he knew what he was doing.

Day 44: Dipolog

We went to Dipolog for a few days to visit my grandmother. You can see that the airport is empty because we were waiting for my luggage to arrive. Which never came because Cebu Pacific left my luggage in Manila. It arrived the next day just as we were about to go home the next day after that.

Day 43: Takoyaki

I remember the first time I ate takoyaki. It was my I remember when I was in college a friend introduced me to “samurai balls,”. It was love at first bite.  It was hard on the outside and soft on the inside. It was a burst of flavor.

Over the years Takoyaki was something that I can't resist. I really like it hot and I do know the difference between newly cooked and reheated. I recently discovered that there is an authentic japanese that serves authentic takoyaki. It was made with octopus (tako), batter, pickled ginger and shrimp, and topped with fried bonito flakes, aonori (green dried seaweed), mayonnaise and takoyaki sauce. The original is always better..

Day 42:Discrimination

To be really honest I don't like what he's doing on National TV. He's making a mockery of Indians.My grandfather is from Kashmir India. I've never met him so as much as I want to embrace the Indian culture I can't fully embrace it. I'm hoping to change that with my kids especially Adee.I know I can teach her but this guy will make it a challenge because of the way that he makes a mockery of Indians in General. I endured my fair share of discrimination because of my last name and now I understand that people mock what they don't understand. But for him to mock his fellow Indians is really bad. As my own form of protest I don't watch his TV shows. I can't stand him and the sad thing is that viewers can be influenced by exposure to racial bias in the media, even without realizing it.

Day 41: Yaya

This is our Yaya, She's great, efficient, great with the kids and most of all A chat addict. Yes my yaya is 51 years old and she chats with people that she meets online. I don't really mine as long as she takes care of her responsibilities and chatting doesn't get in the way.

Day 40: How Old Are You?

This is how Adee does it when I ask her to show me how old she is. She always has to do it this way. She wouldn't have it any other way.

Day 37: Mobile

This is my husband's Blackberry and I really love this phone.. I think even more than my husband does.. Good thing we're not paying for the line otherwise we'd really be broke. 

Day 36: SPIT

I've been wanting to watch this group because I know that they are funny. . Thankfully i was invited to an event where they performed. I wasn't disappointed..They very entertaining and very funny. It's hard to make people laugh that I know but for them it was as if they were born to do it.


Silly People's Improv Theater (or shortly known as SPIT) introduces a very witty kind of humor. Not your ordinary toilet humor which constantly makes fun of the people in the audience. The only audience participation in here is that they seek topics, or little words or letters to the audience wherein they get their skits. All improvised right at the spot. All Great!!!

Day 35: Rent( The Staging)

After blogging about it  since I first saw the rehearsal, I was able to watch it last night.It was a great show with awesome performances from the cast. Loved it! Loved it!!!

Day 34: Blood Test

I hate Blood Tests.. But there's no way to get around it. So for me not to think about it I decided to take photos of the procedure. I still can't believe that I managed to take a photo of the procedure without fainting.

Day 33: A ROBOT

Joshwa was so excited to meet a Human Robot for the first time. He was just smiling from ear to ear..Eventhough that trip to EK was so stressful I'm still glad that we went because it was really worth it

Day 32: Pancake

I'm not a big fan of Pancakes but this one I just couldn't resist it. It's mini pancakes with Cream Cheese Filling and just the perfect tart from the lemon.. YUMMY!
